Asynchronous Digital Subscriber Line 2 (ADSL2) allows your company to use an incredibly high speed dedicated connection to the Internet that can be shared across your entire network.

Traditional ADSL service is run as a line share service meaning that the signal is placed over an existing phone line. All new Excalibur ADSL2 circuits are provisioned on a separate pair of cables that is not shared with any of your phone lines. This provides the cleanest signal for the data service and can help improve speed and performance. This allows our ADSL2 service to achieve speeds of up to 15 MBPS when downloading and 1 MBPS when uploading! That download speed is the equivalent of 10 traditional T1 lines!

ADSL2 service is available to clients within a close proximity to an operational ADSL2 telephone company (Telco) facilities site. Currently 50% of the local Telco areas are covered by ADSL2 service. Some areas do not qualify for ADSL2 service. To find out if your company qualifies, please call our office and speak to a Technology Consultant. If you qualify, we can get you setup in approximately two weeks. If you do not qualify, we will be glad to explore other high-speed Internet options with you. Depending on your phone closet and network closet configuration, you might need to have an extension line ran from your phone service access point to your network closet.
